Aero India 2023

• The event, the biggest-ever till date, is likely to witness the participation of 98 countries. The Defence Ministers of 32 countries, Air Chiefs of 29 countries and 73 CEOs of global and Indian Original Equipment Manufacturers are expected to attend the event. • 809 defence companies, including start-ups, will showcase the advancement in niche technologies and the growth in the aerospace and defence sectors. • A full-scale LCA-Tejas aircraft in Full Operational Capability (FOC) configuration will be at the center stage of the India Pavilion at the event. LCA Tejas is a single-engine, lightweight, highly agile, multi-role supersonic fighter. • 251 agreements with expected investments of Rs 75,000 crore are likely to be signed between various Indian and foreign defence companies. • Rajnath Singh today emphasised that the event will provide a renewed thrust to create a vibrant and world-class domestic defence industry in order to achieve the goal of 'Aatmanirbharta' in defence.

By India Today Web Desk: Aero India 2023, the five-day event, was inaugurated today, February 13, 2022, in the Silicon Valley of India, Bangalore. Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the 14 th edition of biennial Aero India in the presence of diplomats, senior officials, investors, think tanks, and stakeholders. Over 800 exhibitors will participate in India's largest aerospace show, which takes place at the Yelahanka Air Force Station. The tagline "Make in India for the World" will take centre stage at Aero India 2023. AERO INDIA 2023: FULL SCHEDULE Day 1(February 13, 2023): On the first day, there will be an introductory event. Then it will be followed by a flying event, presentations by the Indian Space Association and the Department of Ex-servicemen Welfare (DESW), a CEOs roundtable, drinks, and supper. Day 2(February 14, 2023): Defence ministers' meeting, public flying demonstration, and seminars by the Indian Air Force, Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO), and Coast Guard. Day 3 (February 15, 2023): Sessions will be held between the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) and the Indian Navy. With the air displays and the annual start-up festival, Manthan is also planned. Day 4 and 5(February 16 and 17, 2023): General public exhibitions will be available on the fourth and fifth additional aerial exhibits are available.
