Alif lam mim surah

The reason for descending the verse It is reported by Mujahid who said, “Four verses from the beginning of this surah were revealed about the believers, and two verses after these four were revealed about the disbelievers, and thirteen verses after these last two were revealed about the hypocrites.” (Al-Wahidi,Reasons of Revelation)

﷽ الم ﴿1﴾ تَنْزِيلُ الْكِتَابِ لَا رَيْبَ فِيهِ مِنْ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ ﴿2﴾ أَمْ يَقُولُونَ افْتَرَاهُ ۚ بَلْ هُوَ الْحَقُّ مِنْ رَبِّكَ لِتُنْذِرَ قَوْمًا مَا أَتَاهُمْ مِنْ نَذِيرٍ مِنْ قَبْلِكَ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَهْتَدُونَ ﴿3﴾ اللَّهُ الَّذِي خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا فِي سِتَّةِ أَيَّامٍ ثُمَّ اسْتَوَىٰ عَلَى الْعَرْشِ ۖ مَا لَكُمْ مِنْ دُونِهِ مِنْ وَلِيٍّ وَلَا شَفِيعٍ ۚ أَفَلَا تَتَذَكَّرُونَ ﴿4﴾ يُدَبِّرُ الْأَمْرَ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ إِلَى الْأَرْضِ ثُمَّ يَعْرُجُ إِلَيْهِ فِي يَوْمٍ كَانَ مِقْدَارُهُ أَلْفَ سَنَةٍ مِمَّا تَعُدُّونَ ﴿5﴾ ذَٰلِكَ عَالِمُ الْغَيْبِ وَالشَّهَادَةِ الْعَزِيزُ الرَّحِيمُ ﴿6﴾ الَّذِي أَحْسَنَ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ خَلَقَهُ ۖ وَبَدَأَ خَلْقَ الْإِنْسَانِ مِنْ طِينٍ ﴿7﴾ ثُمَّ جَعَلَ نَسْلَهُ مِنْ سُلَالَةٍ مِنْ مَاءٍ مَهِينٍ ﴿8﴾ ثُمَّ سَوَّاهُ وَنَفَخَ فِيهِ مِنْ رُوحِهِ ۖ وَجَعَلَ لَكُمُ السَّمْعَ وَالْأَبْصَارَ وَالْأَفْئِدَةَ ۚ قَلِيلًا مَا تَشْكُرُونَ ﴿9﴾ وَقَالُوا أَإِذَا ضَلَلْنَا فِي الْأَرْضِ أَإِنَّا لَفِي خَلْقٍ جَدِيدٍ ۚ بَلْ هُمْ بِلِقَاءِ رَبِّهِمْ كَافِرُونَ ﴿10﴾ قُلْ يَتَوَفَّاكُمْ مَلَكُ الْمَوْتِ الَّذِي وُكِّلَ بِكُمْ ثُمَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكُمْ تُرْجَعُونَ ﴿11﴾ وَلَوْ تَرَىٰ إِذِ الْمُجْرِمُونَ نَاكِسُو رُءُوسِهِمْ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِمْ رَبَّنَا أَبْصَرْنَا وَسَمِعْنَا فَارْجِعْنَا نَعْمَلْ صَالِحًا إِنَّا مُوقِنُونَ ﴿12﴾ وَلَوْ شِئْنَا لَآتَيْنَا كُلَّ نَفْسٍ هُدَاهَا وَلَٰكِنْ حَقَّ الْقَوْلُ مِنِّي لَأَمْلَأَنَّ جَهَنَّمَ مِنَ الْجِنَّةِ وَالنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَ ﴿13﴾ فَذُوقُوا بِمَا نَسِيتُمْ لِقَاءَ يَوْمِكُمْ هَٰذَا إِن...

Surah Al-Baqarah commences with this verse of Allah U : ﴾الٓمٓ﴿ What is the meaning of these letters? There is not another book on this earth which starts with letters in this manner. These are structural letters, not significant letters. The significant letters signify meanings, such as (فِي, in) which signifies an adverbial meaning, (عَلَى, on) which signifies superiority, (مِنْ, from) which signifies beginning and (إِلَى, to) which signifies ending. However, ﴾الٓمٓ﴿ consists of structural letters that we will not be asked about their meanings. There is not a single book which begins with letters which do not have a meaning. If the Holy Qur’an had been from the Prophet r or humans and jinns had gathered to author the book, it would have never occurred to any of them to write a book intended for human beings except with words and letters which contain meanings, so that no problems will arise.

Jakarta - Setiap kali membaca Al Quran, umat muslim akan menemukan huruf-huruf potongan hijayah yang terdapat pada permulaan surat Al Quran. Ada yang berjumlah satu hingga lima huruf dengan salah satunya berbunyi alif lam mim. Lantas, apa arti dari Sebelumnya perlu diketahui, pembukaan surat-surat Al Quran dengan huruf-huruf hijaiyah tunggal ini disebut dengan fawatihus suwar, sebagaimana yang dilansir dari Kamus Super Lengkap Istilah-Istilah Agama Islam oleh KH. Abdul Aziz Masyuhuri, ada sebanyak 29 surat dari 114 surat dalam Al Quran yang menggunakan huruf-huruf hijaiyah sebagai pembukanya. Untuk huruf alif lam mim sendiri, terdapat 6 surat yang mencantumkannya sebagai pembuka surat. Beberapa surat dalam Al Quran yang dimaksud di antaranya adalah sebagai berikut, Baca juga: • Surat Al Baqarah (2) • Surat Ali Imran (3) • Surat Al Ankabuut (29) • Surat Ar Ruum (30) • Surat Luqman (31) • Surat As Sajdah (32) Adapun maknanya, menurut Imam al-Ṭabari seperti ada sejumlah pendapat yang diterangkan oleh beberapa kalangan sahabat maupun tabi'in mengenai arti alif lam mim.
