The NACH (National Automated Clearing House) implemented by NPCI (National Payments Corporation of India) provides a robust, secure, and scalable platform, which is coupled with best-in-class security features and multilevel data validation. The process is entirely digital with no involvement of any physical forms or signatures at any point of time. NACH E-Mandate registration process is a very simple 4 steps procedure. E-Mandate steps are as under : Step 1: Starting E-Mandate Journey To start, click on the NACH e-mandate link on our website. Step 2: Validation of Loan Information The link takes you to login of e-mandate page. Enter your 14-digit loan account number and the last 4 digits of your registered mobile number. After submitting, you receive an OTP on your registered mobile number. Enter the 6-digit OTP received and click on submit. Step 3: Completion of E-Mandate form After clicking submit, you move to the next step to complete your e-mandate form. The main page has a form, which is auto filled with your personal, loan and EMI details for your ease. The details we need from you are given below: • Type of debit account • Debit account number • Name of the bank • Type of authentication mode (Internet Banking/Debit Card) Tick the Terms and Conditions box and then click on submit. (In case your mobile number is not updated in Bank or Aadhaar, kindly contact nearby Branch or Business Correspondent point of Bank Of Baroda for Aadhaar seeding/authentication purposes.) • Do not provide inccorect Aadhaar number in your request. • Select your options for Aadhaar Seeding correctly. In case your Aadhaar is already seeded in your account, you can initiate only authentication request. • The verification of your request for Aadhaar seeding/authentication may take a few days.

Bank of Baroda launches bob World Wave, a wearable payment solution

Bank of Baroda (BOB) has joined hands with National Payments Corporations of India (NPCI) to launch bob World Wave, a wearable line of products for payments, integrated with a complete health ecosystem. A bob World Wave wearable device will allow customers to monitor their Sp02, body temperature, heart rate and blood pressure. With bob World Wave, BOB is providing an exclusive 3-months free wellness package along with a personal health coach, doctor tele-consultation and interactive video coaching. The device will provide contactless payments of up to ₹5,000 in all NFC enabled PoS devices. Customers can do contactless payment above ₹5,000 using a PIN. BOB will also provide a dummy plastic card (with the same card number printed as that of the wearable device along with expiry date and CVV) to enable customers to do e-commerce transactions at ease. Ajay K Khurana, Executive Director at Bank of Baroda said that wearable technology is witnessing a tremendous interest and absorption globally as people are increasingly adopting more convenient and cashless digital transactions. Benefits of the ICCW facility According to the Bank of Baroda press release, “Some of the major benefits of the ICCW facility are that skimming, cloning and other card-related frauds can be eliminated. It also generates a single use (signed) dynamic QR code for every transaction for risk mitigation. Further, customers need not carry multiple cards to withdraw cash from different accounts as ICCW allows cash withdrawals from multiple accounts linked to UPI. Customers whose KYC has been completed and who have not been issued a physical card as yet can avail of this service.” Limit Customers can avail two transactions a day per account with a withdrawal limit of Rs. 5000/- per transaction. UPI-ATM (Interoperable Card-less Cash Withdrawal – ICCW) According to the NPCI, “This service shall facilitate participating banks’ customers who are live on UPI, to withdraw cash from any participating banks’ ATMs (enabled for UPI-ATM - ICCW)) without using their card.” Some of the main features of the UPI-ATM (ICCW) service are as follows: • Interoperable. • Card-less Transaction. • Transaction limit is up to ?10,000/- per transaction. It shall be part of the existing UPI per day limit and as per the limits set by Issuer Bank for ICCW transactions. • Convenience i.e. no need to carry card for ATM cash withdrawal. • Can withdraw cash from multiple accounts using UPI APP.
