New BSNL Users Can Avail Free SIM Card for a Limited Period

Alongside upgrading the entry-level broadband plans, BSNL also brought a new offer as part of which new users will get the SIM card for free. Almost all the telecom operator in India charge for new SIM cards, however, they do not disclose the amount and the charges are included in the BSNL also charges a little amount for SIM cards. The state-run telco charges Rs 20 from every new customer for the SIM card. As part of a promotional offer, BSNL is issuing a free SIM card to every customer, but there is one condition which the user has to satisfy to be eligible for the offer. Also, it is a limited period offer valid for just 15 days. BSNL New SIM Card Offer Detailed As noted, BSNL usually charges Rs 20 for SIM card from every new customer. That's changing for a limited period from November 14, 2020, to November 28, 2020. The offer is valid across all the telecom operations where BSNL is operating. A recent report stated that BSNL would soon become a pan-India operator as MTNL's license is expiring in January 2021. However, to be eligible for the offer, new customers will have to make a First Recharge (FRC) of a minimum of Rs 100. BSNL has a wide range of FRC plans which can be availed at the time of choosing the connection. New customers can head over any nearest BSNL retail store to get the connection along with the SIM card and they can also get the FRC done at the same time. BSNL 4G SIM Card Offer

The government-run telecom operator BSNL has once again extended the free 4G SIM card offer. The telco has extended the offer until December 31, 2021. As per the announcement of this offer, BSNL will let users who wish to get the first recharge done for Rs. 100 or above and receive a free 4G SIM card. This offer is initially available only for users in the Kerala circle and the other circles will get the offer in the future. Usually, the BSNL 4G SIM card is priced at Rs. 20. Under the BSNL free 4G SIM card offer, new customers who opt for BSNL and who port to the network and recharge for Rs. 100 or above will get the SIM card for free. Interested customers can visit the BSNL retail outlets in the applicable circles or by contacting the BSNL Customer Service Centers. BSNL Rs. 699 Promotional Offer Besides this, BSNL came up with a Users who opt for this Rs. 699 promotional plan can send it by dialling a USSD shortcode or an SMS. The plan is available to all BSNL users, be it existing or new users. BSNL customers can activate the plan by sending an SMS as PLAN BSNL699 to 123. Also, users can dial the USSD code *444*699# to activate the promotional offer. Before opting for this promotional plan, users have to ensure that their prepaid balance is above Rs. 699 as the amount will be deducted from their balance.

By India Today Tech: Government-owned telco Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) is giving free 4G SIM cards until March 31, 2022. The telco has extended the offer in Kerala Telecom Circles as of now and is likely to extend the offer to other telecom circles. Users looking to switch to BSNL will be required to pay only for the recharge amount of the prepaid plan without any additional charges for porting out. The development was first reported by Kerala Telecom. BSNL’s plan vouchers start from Rs 106. BSNL has also increased the validity of the annual prepaid plan priced at Rs 2399 until January 15. Until December 31st, the telco was given an additional validity of 60 days on the annual plan which brought the total validity to 425 days. The telco will now give 90 days of extended validity with its Rs 2399 plan which comes down to 455 days. At a time when tariff hikes from private telecom operators are soaring through the roof, BSNL’s plans with generous validity give some respite to users looking for more benefits. However, users will have to overlook the data speeds. The entry-level prepaid plan from BSNL priced at Rs 249 gives 2GB daily data and 60 days validity. However, users must note that this is a first recharge coupon (FRC) and will only be applicable to new users. This plan gives 2GB daily data along with 100 SMS per day.
