The major topics of covered were: (1) nuclear structure, (2) low and medium energy nuclear reactions, (3) physics with radioactive ion beams, (4) intermediate energy nuclear reactions and non-nucleonic degrees of freedom, (5) relativistic nuclear collisions and quark-gluon phase, (6) hadronic structure and interactions (7) nuclear matter and equation of state, (8) nuclear astrophysics, and (9) accelerators and nuclear instrumentation. [en]The presentations covered in this symposium are for Nuclear structure section, Nuclear reaction section, Nuclear astrophysics section, Hadron physics section, Relativistic nuclear collisions and QGP section, Electroweak interaction in nuclei section, Nuclear instrumentation, techniques and application section. The diverse interests of the research pursued currently in nuclear physics are reflected in the sub-topics covered in the symposium. One can find large overlaps of interests in these topics with several other active fields of research: fundamental interactions and symmetries, many-body systems descriptions, and advanced nuclear and accelerator instrumentation systems, just to name a few.
