हमारी भूमिका बहुत ही महत्वपूर्ण है। ये कहना कि विज्ञान का दुरुपयोग हो रहा है - सही है! परन्तु हर व्यक्ति इसका दुरुपयोग कर रहा है। यह कहना सर्वथा गलत होगा। क्योंकि कुछ लोग इसके दुरुपयोग को रोकने के लिए कार्य करते रहते हैं। (1)आज हमारे अथक प्रयासों के द्वारा ही परमाणु हथियारों का इस्तेमाल नहीं हो रहा है। क्योंकि हथियार लगभग सभी देशों के पास है परन्तु परमाणु संधियों द्वारा इनके प्रयोगों में रोक लगा दी गई है। हमें चाहिए हम इनका समर्थन करें। (2)प्रदूषण के प्रति जनता में जागरुकता लाने के लिए अनेकों कार्यक्रमों व सभा का आयोजन किया जा रहा है। जिससे प्रदूषण के प्रति रोकथाम की जा सके। इन समारोहों में जाकर व लोगों को बताकर हम अपनी भूमिका अदा कर सकते हैं। (3)अंग प्रत्यारोपण पर मीडिया के अथक प्रयास से ही अंकुश लगना संभव हो पाया है। हमें चाहिए कि उसके इस प्रयास में उसका साथ दे व जहाँ पर भी ऐसी कोई गतिविधि चल रही हो उससे मीडिया व कानून को जानकारी देकर उनका सहयोग करें।
