राजस्थान में 19 नए जिले और तीन नए संभाग बनाने की घोषणा की है। यह घोषणा मुख्यमंत्री अशोक गहलोत ने शुक्रवार को राजस्थान विधानसभा में की। इन नए जिलों में सवाई माधोपुर के गंगापुर सिटी को भी नया जिला बनाया गया है। यहां पिछले कई सालों से गंगापुर सिटी को नया जिला बनाने की मांग की जा रही थी। यह बहुप्रतिक्षित मांग शुक्रवार को पूरी हो गई। पिछले दो दशकों से गंगापुरसिटी क्षेत्र के लोग गंगापुरसिटी को जिला बनाने की मांग कर रहे थे। हालांकि इससे पहले सवाई माधोपुर को अलग कर करौली को जिला बना दिया गया। इसके बाद गंगापुर सिटी के क्षेत्र की भौगोलिक स्थिति, क्षेत्रफल और जनसंख्या को आधार रखते हुए क्षेत्र के लोग एक बार फिर गंगापुर सिटी को जिला बनाने की मांग करने लगे। पिछली सरकार के दौरान भी गंगापुर सिटी को जिला बनाने की मांग जोर पकड़ती रही और इसके लिए कई बार क्षेत्र के लोगों ने आंदोलन किए। नहीं पूरी हुई सवाई माधोपुर को संभाग बनाने की मांग शुक्रवार को विधानसभा में मुख्यमंत्री अशोक गहलोत ने वित्त और विनियोग विधेयक पर चर्चा के दौरान कई घोषणाएं कीं। इनमें मुख्यमंत्री ने प्रदेश में गंगापुर सिटी सहित 19 नए जिले बनाने की घोषणा की है। इसी के साथ ही तीन नए संभाग भी बनाने की घोषणा की गई है। वहीं सवाई माधोपुर को संभाग बनाने की मांग पूरी नहीं की गई। यहां के लोग सवाई माधोपुर को संभाग बनाने की मांग कर रहे थे। इसी के साथ ही सवाई माधोपुर को भरतपुर संभाग से हटाकर कोटा संभाग में शामिल करने की मांग भी कर रहे थे। सवाई माधोपुर वासियों की यह दोनों मांगे ही पूरी नहीं हुई है। जिले को कई सौगाते मिली इन घोषणा में सवाई माधोपुर को कई सौगाते मिली है। गंगापुर सिटी में XEN कार्यालय (जल संसाधन विभाग), वजीरपुर पंचायत को नगर पालि...

The victim was also shot at, but police have ruled out any firing in this case. The deceased has been identified as Radhey Shyam Gurjar 45.
