The Housefull movie series falls in the second category, and quite honestly enjoys a large fan base. It has been catering to the needs of movie-goers since 2010. It features Akshay Kumar in the lead role who is supported by various characters, that keep changing in every franchise. So far, Akshay, Riteish Deshmukh, Boman Irani, and Chunky Pandey have remained constant throughout the series. In Housefull 3 movie , Abhishek Bachchan was one of the supporting heroes, while in Housefull 2, it was John Abraham. Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, this comedy franchise has done some good business all these years. HOUSEFUL 3- Somewhere around when 30mins of the movie was left , there came a swimming pool scene which made me laugh out loud when Akhsay , Abhishek and Ritesh were managing their DUAL DISABILITIES with Boman and Jackie. That was the only moment where i laugh wholeheartedly . And yes there were some 5-6 small moments for smile. Nothing more than that. I don't think it will be anything shocking if i say , there was not much of a plot , as anybody who will be expecting plot in this movie will be a fool. But in a strict sense , plot line can be compromised in a comedy movie if enough laugh out moment can be generated , which this movie didn't do. The jokes were lame and old. Like AADMI KO SIDHA HONA CHAHIYE ULTA TO TARAK MEHTA KA CHASMA BHI HEI , KHUSH HONA CHAHIYE GAMBHIR TO GAUTAM BHI HEI , ETC. Or those fullform jokes like YE TO MERE LIYE BHK hei , BAYEN HAATH KA KHEL. And yes how can i forget the worst English to Hindi translation jokes - TM LOGON KO NIMBU KI ROSHNI SE DUR REHNA CHAHIYE which means you must not be on the LIMELIGHT. I never understand who exactly the target audience is who laugh on these jokes..Still these movie enter the 100crore club. Probably this will too. Among actors , its just Akhsay who generated some laugh with his SANDY - SUNDY dual personality act. But not enough good jokes were given to any of the actors.
