I Hate Luv Storys is a romantic comedy film that was released in 2010. The movie was directed by Punit Malhotra and produced by Karan Johar under the banner of Dharma Productions. The film starred Imran Khan, Sonam Kapoor, and Sammir Dattani in the lead roles. The movie is set in Mumbai and revolves around the life of Jay Dhingra (Imran Khan), an assistant director who is a cynic when it comes to love and romance. Despite their contrasting views on love, Jay and Simran end up working together on a film project, which is a love story. As they spend time together, Jay and Simran gradually develop feelings for each other. However, Jay is determined to stick to his cynical view of love and tries to avoid getting emotionally involved with Simran.
