Rewatch Value 10 Heart Wrenching I’ve only watched a few episodes, but I cried off and on through all of them. If you’ve ever had someone you love die, and had them in Hospice, you can’t not cry. Dying means loooking back on your life, the mistakes you’ve made, the happiness you’ve felt, the relationships you formed, the things you regret, and the things you had yet to do, but won’t have the chance. The loved ones and friends you leave behind is the hardest thing. I often look at my adult children, and know what it is like to lose a parent. Having to go through their things after their deaths, as you grieve and remember everything looking through their memories. This drama reminds you to live life to the fullest while you can, try not to have regrets, and realize life is short. I’m in my later years, and constantly look back on my past, knowing I don’t have many years left. This drama really hits home for me. It is VERY sad, with a few light moments, great plot and great acting. I will continue to the end crying the whole way, unless the story changes suddenly. Definitely worth the watch. EDIT: So, the drama has changed direction a bit as I watched more episodes. Less about Hospice, and a bit more about character development. I’m not saying it’s a bad direction, just different than earlier episodes. I’ll continue watching and see what develops… my score may drop a bit. Still a good watch though. If You Wish Upon Me – Picture: KBS2 Originally expected to hit Netflix, sadly, the KBS2 K-drama If You Wish Upon Me (fka Tell Me Your Wish) won’t be streaming on the platform. Starring Ji Chang Wook, If You Wish Upon Me is one of the most anticipated new releases of the year. Tell Me Your Wish is an upcoming South Korean Netflix Original drama series from the terrestrial television station KBS2. The series is directed by Kim Yong An, who previously directed The Cursed and Love Cells. The series features many familiar faces to fans of K-dramas on Netflix. Ji Chang Wook (center) in Lovestruck in the City (left) and The Sound of Magic (right) Choi Soo Young had a leading role in the popular tvN drama Run On, where she played the role of Seo Dan Ah. The actress also had a guest appearance in two episodes of Move to Heaven. Sung Dong-Il has starred in multiple Netflix Originals; however, Tell Me Your Wish is the first time Dong-Il has had a leading role. Previously, he made guest appearances in both seasons of Hospital Playlist, Chief of Staff 2, and Prison Playbook. The actor has also been in supporting roles in Sisyphus: The Myth and Live. If You Wish Upon Me: Episodes 15-16 (Final) by It’s time to say goodbye to our hospice family, and it’s bittersweet. But we get a solid finale that returns to what this drama does best: heartwarming moments and healing. Our little supervisor has come a long way since he first arrived at the hospice, and he’s willing to do whatever it takes to protect his newfound family. Thankfully, that devotion goes both ways. EPISODES 15-16 WEECAP Our final episodes really emphasize the meaning of family and who gets to claim that title. I love a good found family, so that’s been one of my favorite aspects of the drama, and I’m glad the finale brings us home, so to speak. But before we get back to the heartwarming stuff, it’s time to wrap up the gangster shenanigans and evil father drama. We ended last week with Ki-joon’s underling aiming his bat at Gyeo-re’s head. As expected, Ki-joon calls him off, angry that he’s attacking his son that no one was aware he had. Gyeo-re, being who he is, gets his father to leave by going with him, breaking Tae-shik and Yeon-joo’s hearts. No one buys Gyeo-re’s tough act that he’s doing it for selfish reasons since it’s obvious to anyone who’s met him that he’s sacrificing himself to protect the hospice. Gyeo-re tells Yeon-joo over the phone that he has no regrets since his wish of being happy at least once came true at the hospice.
