Jio’s 5G network has been officially launched in India. The telco will initially roll out its 5G services in key Indian cities and later expand them to other regions. Dubbed Jio True 5G, the services are expected to reach every town, talukdar, and tehsil by December 2023. Additionally, the Jio 5G will be based on a Standalone 5G network and have zero dependencies on the 4G infrastructure. This will result in faster connectivity speed and reduced latency.
