Speaking to the media in Munugode, he stated, “with my resignation, it is proven that the state govt functions only when there is a by election, my resignation did not go waste, it led to many good developments.” He went on to say that with the Munugode by-elections around the corner, the state govt has announced an increase in pensions as well.
