A világ kilencedik legmagasabb hegycsúcsára, a 8125 méter magas Nanga Parbatra indul június 6-án, kedden Varga Csaba Nagyváradon élő hegymászó, építész - hangzott el az M1 aktuális csatorna hétfői műsorában. Varga Csaba a műsorban elmondta: célja, hogy pótlólagos oxigén és magashegyi teherhordók igénybevétele nélkül megmássza a pakisztáni Himalája hegycsoportban fekvő hegycsúcsot. A hegymászó arról beszélt, hogy ez az a magasság, ahol még jól tud működni az emberi szervezet. Mint mondta, már van tapasztalata ilyen magasságokkal, ez már a több mint a tizedik magashegyi expedíciója lesz. Kiemelte, hogy úgy érzi, készen áll, és mindent megtesz azért, hogy az expedíció sikeres legyen. Elmondta: a csúcstámadást a június 20. és 30. közötti időszakra tervezi. A hegymászó célja, hogy a Nanga Parbat csúcsán meglobogtassa a Nagyvárad feliratos magyar zászlót és megemlékezzen az idén 150 éves Magyarországi Kárpát Egyesületről, amelynek tagja - közölték hétfőn a Hazajáró című műsor Facebook-oldalán.
