For the initial roll out, the telecom operator is providing 5G connectivity in 4 Indian cities- Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Varanasi. Jio users who live in the above mentioned cities will get 5G connectivity on their 5G enabled phones in a phased manner. Jio has also assured its users that they don't have to get a new 5G SIM as the current 4G SIM will support 5G connectivity. But what about the 5G plans? Well, if you have received the 5G connectivity on your Jio SIM, then your 5G smartphone will automatically get upgraded to the Jio 5G Welcome Offer. Under this 5G offer, Jio users can enjoy unlimited 5G data with up to 1 Gbps.
