Sub-inspector Anjali Bhaati is tasked with the investigation. At first, the deaths appear to be clear-cut suicides, but as the cases unravel, Anjali begins to suspect that a serial killer is on the loose. "What follows is a riveting game of cat and mouse between a seasoned criminal and an underdog cop as she pieces together evidence before another innocent woman loses her life."

For her digital debut, Sonakshi Sinha is donning the khaki as a tough-as-nails police officer. Among the slew of announcements made at its special ‘See Where It Takes You’ event held today in Mumbai, Amazon Prime Video announced the new title of Sinha’s debut web series. The series is titled Dahaad. The streaming giant also shared the news on its official social media handles, sharing a photograph of Sinha’s first look from the series, which was unveiled last year. In the post, Amazon Prime Video teased that the ‘gripping’ series will revolve around the story of serial killings. The series had tentatively been titled Fallen.
