Whereas PCDA refers to the principal controller of defense accounts. Let us understand the current existing system. This scheme was enacted especially for defense personnel pensioners. As of today, we have three pension-sanctioning authorities. One for the army at Allahabad. Another one for the navy at Mumbai. Lastly, one for the Indian air force at Delhi.
