UPSC CSE 2022 FINAL RESULT 2022 OUT: UPSC CSE Final Result 2022 declared by the Union Public Service Commission on 23rd May 2023, marking the end of an arduous journey for countless aspirants. The UPSC CSE 2022 final result has been declared on the basis of written examination and interview. The Civil Services Preliminary Examination was commenced on the 5th of June 2022, and the results were declared on June 22nd, 2023. Following the initial hurdle, the UPSC CSE main examination took place from the 16th to the 25th of September 2022 and the main examination results were declared on the 6th of December 2022. The shortlisted candidates ventured into the final stage of the selection process: the Personality Test which was held on the 18th of May 2023. Today, the Union Public Service Commission has announced the names of the recommended candidates for the appointment. A total of 933 candidates have been finally shortlisted who will be appointed to various prestigious positions, including the coveted Indian Administrative Service, Indian Foreign Service, Indian Police Service, as well as Central Services in Group ‘A' and Group 'B'. Candidates can check results at upsc.gov.in. ISHITA KISHORE has bagged AIR-1 in UPSC IAS results. Check latest updates on result, link, toppers list, exam dates and other details here. UPSC preliminary exam is qualifying in nature. The commission conducts the civil services main exam for a total of 1750 marks. The UPSC CSE written exam (main) consists of nine papers but marks of only seven papers are counted for the final merit ranking. The 7 papers carry 250 marks each. For the rest two papers CSAT, the candidate should secure minimum qualifying marks prescribed by UPSC each year. The UPSC interview round is for a total of 275 marks. • The first rank holder in UPSC CSE 2021 exam, Shruti Sharma scored 1105 marks out of 2025 i.e, 54.56%. • The second-rank holder Ankita Agarwal scored 871 marks in the written exam and 179 in the interview. UPSC Final Result 2022: Ishita Kishore has topped the Civil Services Examination by securing All India Rank 1, followed by Garima Lohia and Uma Harathi N. The top 25 candidates comprise 14 women and 11 men. Marks will be available on the website within 15 days from the date of declaration of result. Of all those who appeared for the examination, only 933 candidates have been recommended for appointment. Based on the result of the written part of Civil Services Examination 2022 held by the UPSC in September 2022 and the interviews for Personality Test held in January-May 2023, candidates who have been recommended for appointment to Indian Administrative Service; Indian Foreign Service; Indian Police Service; and Central Services, Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’. The Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination, 2022 was conducted on 5th June, 2022. A total of 11,35,697 candidates applied for this examination, out of which 5,73,735 candidates actually appeared in the examination. A total of 13,090 candidates qualified for appearance in the Written (Main) Examination which was held in September 2022. Educational qualifications of top 25 successful candidates range from graduation in Engineering; Humanities; Science; Commerce and Medical Science from premier Institutions of the country like IIT, NIT, DTU, Gauhati Medical College, University of Health Science, University of Delhi, Gujarat National Law University, Jadavpur University, Jiwaji University etc.
