Is it advisable to visit Darjeeling in October?

Hey guys, I'm planning for a 3 days visit to Darjeeling this October. I would like to get your help on a few things. 1. Is October a good choice for Darjeeling? 2. Suggest me some of the good hotels (3*) where in I can stay with out any problems. 3. Which are all the places that I must cover in 3 days? 4. Would it be rainy? I hope weather would be favoring. (I expect Winter.) 5. Are all kinds of food (preferably South Indian) available in Darjeeling? 6. For sight seeing, should I go for cab or is there any other cheap means? Thanks in advance.! October is high season for Darjeeling // May try Central Gleneagle, R.J. Resort, Little Tibet // Avail Mix point sightseeing trip, it covers most of the highlighted sights // Occasional rain might be there, won't affect outdoor activity. Light winter garments required // South Indian food available // Cab is the best and only mode of transport for sightseeing. Edited: 6 years ago 1. Is October a good choice for Darjeeling? A. Yes.
