In April 1996, Bharati Vidyapeeth University, Pune was granted Deemed status for its academic excellence and the medical college became a constituent unit of the deemed university. Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University) Navi Mumbai Campus is divided into two locations - Sector 7 of C.B.D and Sector 8 of C.B.D. Both of the locations are easily accessible to the students and available at the prime localities of the city. Currently, the students can apply for any of the two colleges and three departments situated on the campus. The campus offers hostel and mess facilities to all students. In case of any medical emergency, help from the hostel staff will be available to all students.
