Authorities in Mexico have launched an investigation into the deaths of two Americans found in their hotel rooms at a luxury resort near Cabo San Lucas. The State Department says they’re closely monitoring the investigation though police say the suspected cause of death is gas poisoning. NBC’s Miguel Almaguer reports for TODAY. If you’re planning a trip but don’t want to leave your furry friend behind, NBC’s Vicky Nguyen shares a checklist for making the experience less stressful for you and your pet — including having your pet’s health record on hand, making sure their collar has up-to-date info, what you should pack for them, and much more. The dads also stick around to answer viewer questions about common dad dilemmas.

Motorcycles are by their nature far less crashworthy than closed vehicles. They are also less visible to other drivers and pedestrians and less stable than four-wheel vehicles. Operating a motorcycle requires a different combination of physical and mental skills than those used in driving four-wheel vehicles. Motorcyclists and their passengers are more vulnerable to the hazards of weather and road conditions than drivers in closed vehicles.
