Meaning of “Qul Auzu Bi Rabbin Falak” “Qul A’uzu bi Rabbil Falaq” is the opening phrase of Surah Al-Falaq, which is the 113th chapter of the Quran. It translates to “Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of daybreak”. These surah are also known as “Al-Mu’awwidhatayn,” which means “the two refuges.”

Surah Al Falaq With Hindi Tarjuma – सूरह अल फलख – Surah falaq قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ कहो, “मैं शरण लेता हूँ, प्रकट करनेवाले रब की,



شَرِّ غَاسِقٍ إِذَا وَقَبَ ٣ and from the evil of the night when it grows dark, 113:4 وَمِن شَرِّ ٱلنَّفَّٰثَٰتِ فِي ٱلۡعُقَدِ ٤ and from the evil of those ˹witches casting spells by˺ blowing onto knots, 113:5 وَمِن شَرِّ حَاسِدٍ

The surah the begins with Qul auzu bi rabbin falak is known as Surah Falaq and is the second last surah of the Quran. It is among one of the shortest surahs of the Quran with just 5 ayat which makes it easy for a Muslim to memorize and recite.



These surahs are called Al-Mu’awwidhatayn (or Al-Muawwidzatain). In Arabic, it is written as المعوذتين and consists of Surah Falaq and Surah Nas. Al-Muawwidhatayn means “the two verses for seeking refuge”, and this is because both Surah Falaq and Surah Nas start with “Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of…”. They are the 113th.
