Traffic light Materials required Cardboard 3 white color lids (take from old plastic jars) Pencil or pen Acrylic paint (yellow, red, green, and black colors) Hot glue A long piece of string or yarn A pair of scissors How to make a traffic light costume • Cut the cardboard to fit your child's body from shoulder to mid-thigh. Paint the cardboard black. • Paint one lid red, the other yellow and the next one green to denote the color of traffic lights. • Mark 3 circles on the cardboard using the lids and pencil/pen and cut them out. • Glue the red, yellow and green lids around the circles on the cardboard in that order. • Attach the string to the top of the cardboard.
